We are thrilled to announce our first conference sub-session: Bridging the Future: The Role of Cyber in the Military Domain. This session will focus on the presence and influence of cyber in the ever-evolving landscape of military operations. It will delve deeper into the crucial role of cyber warfare in modern defence strategies, discuss its impact on national security, the challenges it presents, and the innovative solution shaping the future of military technology. Discover with us how cyber capabilities are reshaping the battlefield, forging a bridge between traditional warfare and the cutting-edge digital frontier, and gain a deeper understanding of the strategies and tactics employed in this increasingly critical domain.
Moreover, we are honoured that this session will be given by Koen Gijsbers, former CIO of the Dutch Ministry of Defense, General Manager of NATO’s IT and cyber (NCI) Agency, current leading IT and cyber executive and well-sought after consultant for both governments and other organisations. With his experience from his military career and his expertise in the IT and cyber domain, this session promises to give interesting insights.
