Networking Event – Emerging Threats in Security and Defence Organisations

The security and defence landscape is rapidly evolving, and many organisations in the Netherlands are at the forefront of these challenges. Therefore, JASON is organising a networking event where students and young-professionals get the opportunity to hear about what type of work these organisations are conducting and get informed on future developments related to security in all its forms.

The confirmed organisations are: Signpost Six, G4S, ICCT, PAX, NATO Command and Control Centre of Excellence, Clingendael, HCSS, JASON Institute and Marco Hekkens; a strategic maritime security expert.

We start with an opening keynote speech. Afterwards, students will break into smaller groups to hear from organisations in the field of security and defence about their work as well as opportunities in the field. To end the event, we will have a closing keynote from an expert in the field of security and have a borrel for the organisations and attendees.

When: April 14th, 19:00-21:00 (make sure to be there 19:00 sharp!)
Where: The Beehive Centre – ESN Common Room (Turfmarkt 104, 2511 DC Den Haag)

Interested in joining our upcoming networking event in The Hague? Then make sure to register and rank your preferences for your organisations of interest via THE Google form! Do keep in mind however, that we are unable to guarantee that everyone will be allocated to their preferred organisations as some will be more popular than others – the borrel luckily provides another opportunity to reach out to the organisation of your interest!

***IMPORTANT NOTE: It is possible to cancel your ticket by sending an e-mail to, but we do not encourage doing so as we will be preparing name tags for all attendees in advance. Hence, we kindly ask you to ONLY REGISTER if you are 100% sure you can make it to this networking event since we invited many prestigious organisations and only have a limited amount of spots available. We expect all attendees to be at The Beehive Centre at 19:00 sharp.

Thank you in advance and we hope to see you soon!
